History

Hosanna Evangelical Free Church started its service in 1990 and is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada. We are located on the boundary of Mississauga and Oakville. We invite you to worship with us and participate freely in our cell groups, women's group or fellowships. We speak the English, Cantonese and Mandarin languages.

HEFC is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada conference. The Evangelical Free Church of Canada is an association of some 140 churches joined together by common purposes, principles and practices. It is a partner with more that 2000 other Free Churches in 14 countries. In addition, it is one of 18 national fellowships belonging to the International Federation of Free Evangelical Churches.

Evangelical refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scripture as being inerrant in the original writings and the only safe guide for faith and practice.

Free refers to our form of church government as being congregational, depending upon the active participation of believers for decisions and directions.
